Frank J. Urioste

Prolific film editor, known primarily for his work on actioners ("Die Hard" 1988, "Damnation Alley" 1977, "Conan the Destroyer" 1984, "Road House" 1989). Urioste's first editing job was on the black comedy "Whatever Happened to Aunt Alice?" (1969). He went on to work on the war films "Battle of Midway" (1976) and "The Boys of Company C" (1977). Since 1987 Urioste has enjoyed a fruitful collaboration with director Paul Verhoeven, working on the films "Robocop," "Total Recall" (1990), and "Basic Instinct" (1992), which garnered him an Oscar nomination.
