Fran Brill

Fran Brill's successful Hollywood acting career began in film, appearing in such titles as "Being There" (1979), the dramedy "Old Enough" (1984) with Sarah Boyd and the action picture "Midnight Run" (1988) with Robert De Niro. She also appeared in the TV movie "Amber Waves" (ABC, 1979-1980). She worked in series television while getting her start in acting, including a part on "How to Survive a Marriage" (CBS, 1973-75). She continued to act in productions like "What About Bob?" (1991) with Bill Murray and "City Hall" (1996). She also appeared in the TV special "The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson" (CBS, 1990-91). Most commonly known for her voice work, Brill also acted in "Elmo Saves Christmas" (PBS, 1996-97) and "Third Watch" (NBC, 1999-2005). Most recently, Brill worked on "Elmo's Christmas Countdown" (ABC, 2007-08).
