Florine McKinney

Florine McKinney was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. McKinney started off her career in film with roles in the Ronald Colman adaptation "Cynara" (1932), the comedy "Horse Feathers" (1932) with Groucho Marx and the drama "The Cabin in the Cotton" (1932) with Richard Barthelmess. McKinney made film her next project, appearing in the Sylvia Sidney dramatic adaptation "The Miracle Man" (1932), "Beauty For Sale" (1933) and "Cappy Ricks Returns" (1935). She also appeared in the dramatic period piece "David Copperfield" (1935) with W C Fields, "Blazing Barriers" (1937) and "Brooklyn Orchid" (1942). Later in her career, McKinney acted in the Rosalind Russell comedy "Take a Letter, Darling" (1942). McKinney passed away in July 1975 at the age of 66.
