Flora Spencer-Longhurst
Flora Spencer-Longhurst was a British stage and screen actress who broke out in the States in 2015 after joining the cast of Kurt Sutter's historical action series "The Bastard Executioner" (FX, 2015). Born and raised in England, Spencer-Longhurst began her professional training as an actor at the age of 11 by enrolling in Britain's National Youth Music Theatre. After honing her craft for a few years, Spencer-Longhurst began appearing in professional stage productions. Beginning in the late 2000s, she started landing roles in such time-honored plays as "The Importance of Being Earnest" and "A Christmas Carol," as well as the West End production of the widely acclaimed musical "Once." Before long, Spencer-Longhurst also started landing small part on British TV shows like " Dalziel and Pascoe" (BBC One, 1996-2007), "Wallander" (BBC One, 2008-16), and "Unforgiven" (ITV/STV/UTV, 2009). Then in 2011 she landed her first big TV break by nabbing a starring role on the historical children's program "Leonardo" (CBBC, 2011-12). That show ended in 2012 after two seasons. However, an undeterred Spencer-Longhurst made her film debut the following year in the 2013 drama "Walking with the Enemy," which also starred Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley. Then in 2015 Spencer-Longhurst nabbed her first role on an American TV show "The Bastard Executioner." Set in 14th Century Wales and created by Kurt Sutter of "Sons of Anarchy" (FX, 2008-14) fame, "The Bastard Executioner" debuted on FX on September 15, 2015, with Spencer-Longhurst playing the role of a baroness named "Lady Love."
