Fernando Colunga

Fernando Colunga was born in Mexico City, Mexico. His acting career began as a stuntman, but moved to acting. He starred in several telenovelas prior to landing the role of Luis Fernando de la Vega in "Maria la del Barrio." Originally, he was intended to be in only ten episodes, but because of his popularity with the audience, his character was expanded into a more long term role. Other roles include Alejandro Toledo in "Ladron Que Roba A Ladron" (2007) and reprised in "Ladrones" (2015).
