Ferlin Husky
Ferlin Husky rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Husky began his career with a role in the Alan Freed musical "Mister Rock and Roll" (1957). Husky also appeared in "Country Music Holiday" (1958) and "Howdy" (ABC, 1970-71). Husky's music was most recently featured in "Desert Hearts" (1986) with Helen Shaver. Husky passed away in March 2011 at the age of 86.
