Felton Perry

An American actor who usually plays supporting roles, Felton Perry is best known for portraying Inspector Early Smith in the Dirty Harry film "Magnum Force" and for his recurring role in the "RoboCop" film series. Perry's first role came as an unnamed militant in the politically-themed 1969 film "Medium Cool," and he later appeared on network TV series like "Room 222," "The Partridge Family," and the police drama "Adam-12" (for two episodes). He also landed guest spots in several episodes of the Raymond Burr series "Ironside." He went on to co-star with Louis Gossett Jr. in the TV movie "The Fuzz Brothers" that same year and, in 1979, co-starred in the televised biographical drama "The Ordeal of Patty Hearst" as Cinque, one of Hearst's kidnappers. Perry's stature increased further with a role in the Paul Verhoeven science-fiction thriller "RoboCop" in 1987, reprising his role in the cult series' sequels in 1990 and 1993. He showed a flair for comedy in the Farrelly Brothers hit "Dumb & Dumber" in 1994 and had a recurring role on John Ritter's half-hour dramedy "Hooperman," playing the role of Inspector McNeil.
