Faith Brook
Faith Brook was a British actress who carved out quite a successful career for herself on the Hollywood big screen. Brook began her acting career appearing in various films, such as the Sabu adventure "The Jungle Book" (1942), "Finger of Guilt" (1956) and the crime drama "Across the Bridge" (1958) with Rod Steiger. She also appeared in the thriller "Chase a Crooked Shadow" (1958) with Richard Todd, the Kenneth More mystery adaptation "The 39 Steps" (1959) and "The Heroes of Telemark" (1965) with Kirk Douglas. She continued to act in productions like "The Smashing Bird I Used to Know" (1969), the adventure "The Sea Wolves" (1980) with Gregory Peck and the Roger Moore thriller "ffolkes" (1980). She also appeared in the spy thriller "Eye of the Needle" (1981) with Donald Sutherland. Additionally, she appeared on the television special "Hamlet" (CBS, 1981-82). Brook most recently acted in the Vanessa Redgrave dramatic adaptation "Mrs. Dalloway" (1998).
