Joey and Phoebe scheme to get inside the newlyweds' apartment after discovering that they don't have a key. Monica and Chandler become jealous of another honeymooning couple who get bumped to first class on the airplane.

Ross starts to panic when Mona gets an idea to send out a holiday card for the two of them, thinking that their relationship is starting to move too fast. Chandler's newly divorced boss tries to get Monica and Chandler to come out to dinner with him, but Monica can't stand him. Rachel's hormones start acting up due to her pregnancy, causing her to hit on almost every guy she meets.

Elaine is jealous over George's upcoming wedding, but George wants to postpone it.

McCallister makes a big decision about his candidacy; Nora faces her deepest fears when Isaac asks her to move to Washington DC with him; Sarah finds her business sense clouded by her growing feelings for Graham; Rebecca celebrates her first birthday as a Walker - with the entire family.

While Lorelai deals with the rebuilding of the fire-damaged inn, Rory schemes to give her mom a great birthday party, complete with a gigantic pizza. After Richard surprises Lorelai with a large check that resulted from an investment he made when she was born, she uses part of the money to repay her parents for Rory's education, a gesture which does not please Emily. Meanwhile, Luke confirms that his suspicions are correct: Jess has been skipping school to work extra shifts at the drugstore.
