Eve Mauro

A busy presence in minor roles for film and television projects since 2007, model-turned-actress Eve Mauro found more substantive fare on television series like "The Oath" (2018-) for outlier platforms like Crackle and Syfy. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of a Sicilian father and a Russian mother, both of whom owned or worked in nightclubs. Mauro left school at 16 and headed for Orlando, Florida with the intention of breaking into show business. After working in a variety of jobs, she headed west to Los Angeles, where she worked as a model while honing her acting talents. By 2007, Mauro was working steadily, if in largely ornamental roles, on features and in television, including the Will Ferrell comedy "Land of the Lost" (2009) and episodes of "Bones" (Fox, 2005-2017) and "Men of a Certain Age" (TNT, 2009-2011). Her work pace nearly tripled by 2012, though much of this work was low-budget genre fare destined for home video or cable, like "Sorority Party Massacre" (2012), "Bullet" (2014) and "Cyborg X" (2016), both with septuagenarian action star Danny Trejo. She maintained this hectic schedule of feature film appearances for the better part of the next decade while also landing recurring or series cast roles in multiple television series, including Crackle's police drama "The Oath" (2018-), which was produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, the UK-lensed, six-episode "Age of the Living Dead" (Syfy, 2018), and the science fiction series "Dystopia" (2018-).
