Evan Ellingson
California-born actor Evan Ellingson started out as a child actor, making his television debut at age 13 with a one-off on the long-running soap opera "General Hospital." Shortly thereafter he landed the recurring role on Christopher Titus's eponymous sitcom, on which Ellingson played "Titus" at age 10. In 2004, he was made a cast member on the new Keith Carradine sitcom "Complete Savages." While this series proved short-lived, Ellingson earned a Young Artist Award nomination for his performance as Kyle, one of the unruly Savage boys. Ellingson earned a more noteworthy role in January 2007, when he was cast as Jack Bauer's nephew Josh in the sixth season of the action-packed TV drama "24." By the fall, he'd become a cast member on the popular TV crime drama "CSI: Miami," on which he played the estranged son of David Caruso's Horatio Cane. With his TV fame on the rise, Ellingson earned an eye-catching film role; in the 2009 adaptation of Jodi Picoult's melodramatic novel "My Sister's Keeper," Ellingson played son to Cameron Diaz's troubled mother. Evan Ellingson died on November 5, 2023 in Fontana, CA at the age of 35.
