Ethan Hutchison
Earning acclaim for his professional work before he had even completed elementary school, Ethan Hutchinson first caught audience attention when he began playing the recurring role of Jack Gaines on the series "The Path" (Hulu, 2016-). Born in Long Island, New York, Hutchinson's parents had relocated to the state from New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, hoping to find a better and brighter life for their family. Hutchinson proved to be a natural performer practically from birth, turning professional almost effortlessly when he was cast on "The Path" at age three following his first ever audition. The young actor would go on to make a small appearance in the TV movie "Taraji's White Hot Holidays" (Fox, 2016) before he went out for a much more prominent role of Blue Bordelon on the acclaimed series "Queen Sugar" (OWN, 2016-). Hutchinson was still only five, but his focus and listening skills won over producers and he was offered the role. It would prove to be a major event for Hutchinson, who soon began to earn praise for his performance, even receiving the 2017 Young Artist Award for Best TV Series Performance Leading Young Actor.
