Erika Sato

A plastic surgeon by trade, Erika Sato parlayed her medical training into a successful second career in reality television. Sato earned a doctorate of medicine from the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed her residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Her work location led to her starring in the spinoff to Bravo's successful "Married to Medicine" (Bravo, 2013-), "Married to Medicine: Houston" (Bravo, 2016). During the show's run, the cameras followed Dr. Sato and her husband, Dr. Derek Moore, as they suffered through a family planning drama, struggling to decide whether to start a family. As a surgeon, she practiced at the Houston Plastic Craniofacial & Sinus Surgery, specializing in cosmetic surgery and breast reconstruction.
