Fiona has a surprise visit from her past, and is forced to reevaluate her life. Frank gets involved with Liam’s school and becomes the most popular dad in the PTA, while Lip learns that getting laid sober is harder than he anticipated. Ian crosses a boundary with one of the kids from the youth center. Meanwhile, Kevin and Veronica go on a trip to meet Kevin’s birth family.
In the season eight premiere, the Gallaghers find themselves with money to burn as Carl sells their (meth) inheritance from Monica.
