Ellen Blain

Ellen Blain was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She also starred in the TV movies "Bad Attitudes" (Fox, 1991-92) and "In My Daughter's Name" (CBS, 1991-92). Blain worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "Blossom" (NBC, 1990-95). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties, appearing on "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper" (ABC, 1992-97) and "Diagnosis Murder" (CBS, 1993-2001). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Those Secrets" (ABC, 1991-92). She also appeared in "Encino Man" (1992) with Sean Astin. During these years Recently, she tackled roles on "The Second Half" (NBC, 1993-94) and "Chicago Hope" (CBS, 1994-2000). She also lent her distinctive voice to the Michael Crawford animated film "Once Upon a Forest" (1993). Blain more recently acted on "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009).
