In the Season Five finale, the girls head to the Hamptons for the wedding of a flamboyant lounge singer. Meanwhile, Charlotte's clandestine affair with her lawyer takes an interesting turn, Miranda and Steve blur the line between friends and lovers, and Carrie finds a potential suitor in a motorcycle-riding colleague.

Vince continues to woo Sophia. The DeLucas fall in love with a pricey restaurant space, forcing Turtle to pitch his investors for more money. Distraught over Sloan, Eric turns to Melinda (again) and the pair crash Sloan's date. Ari makes an emotional connection with the script for Vince and Drama's miner movie.

After his interview, Vince tries to make things right with journalist Sophia Lear. Ari gets a reality check from his lawyer about his divorce. Eric receives an over-the-top gift from Melinda Clarke, and some unsettling news from Johnny Galecki. Turtle meets with his East Coast partners on a new business venture. Drama shows his solidarity.

Hal is inadvertently responsible for a toxic chemical spill that forces a neighborhood evacuation; Malcolm deals with being grounded even in the emergency shelter; Francis suffers through a date with a geeky 12-year-old.

The CSI team holds vigil at the bedside of one of its members who is shot in the line of duty and may not survive on the sixth season finale. Meanwhile, when evidence suggests that a small waisted man who was decapitated by a train was really a cover up for murder, the CSIs investigate the man's bizarre lifestyle of routinely wearing corsets.
