Throughout her Hollywood career, Elizabeth Marvel acted in a wide variety of dramatic films. In the early stages of her acting career, Marvel was featured in films like "Ten Hundred Kings" (1999) starring Bill Camp and "Dying Gaul" (2005) with Patricia Clarkson and Peter Sarsgaard. Her film career continued throughout the early 2000s and the 2010s in productions like the dramedy "Synecdoche, New York" (2008) with Philip Seymour Hoffman, the Saffron Burrows drama "The Guitar" (2008) and the crime drama "Holy Rollers" (2010) with Jesse Eisenberg. She also appeared in the Jeff Bridges smash hit western "True Grit" (2010). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in "The Other Woman" (2011) with Natalie Portman, the Jeremy Renner smash hit action picture "The Bourne Legacy" (2012) and the Daniel Day-Lewis hit dramatic adaptation "Lincoln" (2012). She also appeared in "Hyde Park On Hudson" (2012) with Bill Murray. She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Elementary" (CBS, 2012-). Marvel most recently acted in the Adam Sandler comedic drama "The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected)" (2017). Marvel was nominated for an Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series Screen Actors Guild Award for "House of Cards" in 2016.
