Elizabeth Lail

Elizabeth Lail was an American actress who was best known for playing Anna from the hit Disney animated musical "Frozen" (2013) on the fantasy series "Once Upon a Time" (ABC 2011-). Having acted since she was a young girl in middle school stage productions, Lail enrolled in the University of North Carolina's School of the Arts after high school to study drama. She appeared in several stage productions while attending the university, including Shakespeare's "As You Like It" and "Othello," as well as Tennessee Williams' "The Glass Menagerie." Lail also branched out into some minor film roles, having starred in two student short films, "Model Airplane" (2011) and "Without" (2014). By the time graduation rolled around in the spring of 2014, Lail knew she needed to be in Hollywood in order to audition for film and TV roles. Thus, after graduating with a degree in acting, Lail packed her bags and moved to sunny California. Of course Lail arrived in L.A. with the grand dreams of "making it," just like any other newbie film or acting student. But never in her wildest dreams could she have envisioned landing the part of Anna, the much beloved protagonist of Disney's smash hit, "Frozen," on ABC's "Once Upon a Time." Lail made her TV debut as the strawberry blond Disney character in the Fall of 2014.
