Edward Gargan

Edward Gargan was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Gargan landed roles in various films, including "Gambling Ship" (1933), "The Girl in 419" (1933) and "Belle of the Nineties" (1934) with Mae West. He also appeared in the comedy "Hands Across the Table" (1935) with Carole Lombard, "False Pretenses" (1935) and "Port of Lost Dreams" (1935). He continued to act in productions like the Myrna Loy comedy "Lucky Night" (1939), the Jane Withers comedy "Pack Up Your Troubles" (1939) and the George Sanders mystery "The Saint Strikes Back" (1939). He also appeared in "Yes, My Darling Daughter" (1939). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "The Falcon Strikes Back" (1943) with Tom Conway, "Princess O'Rourke" (1943) with Olivia de Havilland and the mystery "The Falcon in Danger" (1943) with Tom Conway. He also appeared in the mystery "The Falcon Out West" (1944) with Tom Conway and "Detective Kitty O'Day" (1944). Gargan last acted in the Ronald Reagan comedy "Bedtime For Bonzo" (1951). Gargan passed away in February 1964 at the age of 62.
