Eddie Dean

Eddie Dean was an accomplished actor who appeared in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. Dean began his acting career with roles in such films as "Law of the Pampas" (1939), the western "Hidden Gold" (1940) with Russell Hayden and the Russell Hayden western "Santa Fe Marshal" (1940). He also appeared in the Russell Hayden western "Stagecoach War" (1940) and "Rolling Home to Texas" (1941). His film career continued throughout the forties in productions like the western "Arizona Stagecoach" (1942) with Ray Corrigan, "Wildfire" (1945) and "Black Hills" (1947). He also appeared in "Check Your Guns" (1948). Dean last appeared in "The 29th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards" (NBC, 1993-94). Dean passed away in March 1999 at the age of 92.
