Ed Hinton
Ed Hinton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Hinton landed roles in various films, including the Robert Ryan crime picture "Alaska Seas" (1954), the Robert Mitchum action flick "River of No Return" (1954) and the Elizabeth Taylor drama "The Last Time I Saw Paris" (1954). He also appeared in "Gang-Busters" (1955). His film career continued throughout the fifties in productions like "Jungle Moon Men" (1955), the crime drama "Tight Spot" (1955) with Ginger Rogers and the drama "Julie" (1956) with Doris Day. He also appeared in "The Ten Commandments" (1956). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the adaptation "The 27th Day" (1957) with Gene Barry, the James Mason crime flick "Cry Terror!" (1958) and the Fred MacMurray western "Good Day For a Hanging" (1958). Hinton more recently acted in "Gidget" (1959) with Sandra Dee.
