Earl Boen
Veteran character actor Earl Boen is best known for his role as Dr. Peter Silberman in the "Terminator" film franchise. Boen has worked extensively throughout his entire career, appearing in over 200 roles on film and television. He began his career as a stage actor before making his onscreen debut in 1977 on the series "The Streets of San Francisco." The same year, he made his feature film debut in "Mr. Billion," which starred Jackie Gleason. In 1983 he appeared alongside Steve Martin in "The Man With Two Brains" before in his most famous role, as the psychiatrist Dr. Silberman in the 1984 film "The Terminator." He reprised his role in both "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" and a third film, the only actor besides Arnold Schwarzenegger to star in all three entries. He had recurring roles on numerous TV series, including "Making a Living," "Newhart" and "Who's the Boss? ." Boen has worked extensively in animation, lending his voice to shows such as "Justice League" and "The Pirates of Dark Water." Earl Boen died on January 5, 2023 at the age of 77.
