A disheveled and despondent teenage girl is about to jump in front of a moving subway when two businessmen miraculously save her. It turns out she was raped and a man who followed her into the subway station, shown on surveillance video, is the prime suspect. Jackie Landricks (Rachael Bella) is taken to a hospital and her parents are brought in. Detectives Munch (Richard Belzer) and Fin (Ice-T) bring in the suspect Karl Sirett (Billy Lush). Jackie was able to identify his penis is pierced, so Detectives Stabler (Christopher Meloni) and Benson (Mariska Hargitay) play a trick on him - they get Karl to drink a large quantity of soda, then Fin follows him into the men's room to make the identification. However, Jackie had been dating Karl, and even though he is 19, it was technically consensual. Meanwhile, the rape kit determines more than one man, based on the mixed sample of semen, attacked Jackie.

When an off-duty cop tries to stop a bank robbery, he is disarmed by the "Bonnie and Clyde" robbers who take his gun and wound an innocent bystander. Meanwhile, Frank considers getting romantically involved with a woman from the ACLU who happens to be Erin's acquaintance.

The body of a twenty-something woman is found floating in the East River, with no identification. A sorority ring and the victim's photo are enough to get her identified. She's Julie Eastman, a successful real estate agent who was nicknamed Eve Harrington by her co-workers because of her blind ambition. She was dating Adam Makris, a sports agent with top-drawer clients. Adam, Julie and Darryl Ridgeway, a superstar NFL quarterback, had last been seen partying on Darryl's yacht. Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) question Darryl's parents and brother Shawn (Craig Walker) who apparently has a drug problem. The boat is found anchored in a cove, along with bullet holes and everyone's blood on board.

When art dealer Audrey Lortell (guest star Lisa Peluso) is found stoned to death, Detectives Cyrus Lupo (Jeremy Sisto) and Ed Green (Jesse L. Martin) suspect her killing may have been linked to some of the cultural and religious artwork showcased in her gallery. After Lupo listens to an intimate taped conversation between Lortell and an artist, the detectives look further into her personal life; uncovering infidelity and her son's, Jason (guest star Will Denton), troubled past and current involvement in a fanatic religious group. Initially, the murder appeared to have a terrorist link, but Jason's new behavior suggests the killer is closer to home. Also starring: Sam Waterston, S. Epatha Merkerson, Linus Roache, and Alana De La Garza.
