Dominique Provost-Chalkley

Dominique Provost-Chalkley was an English actress best known for her role as Waverly Earp on the fantasy series "Wynonna Earp" (Syfy, 2016-). Born and raised in Bristol, England, Chalkley always intended on becoming a professional actress. She studied acting as a teenager and was fortunate enough to land her first role at the age of 18 with a part on the British musical TV show "Britannia High" (ITV, 2008). Although Provost-Chalkley's role on the series was small, it instilled in her the confidence to continue auditioning for film and TV parts. It would be another four years, however, before Provost-Chalkley nabbed her second screen acting role. That role was in the 2012 horror film "The Seasoning House" (2012). After appearing in "The Seasoning House," it would be another three years before Provost-Chalkley appeared in another film. However, that film would just happen to be the global blockbuster "Avengers: Age of Ultron" (2015). Provost-Chalkley's part in the film may have been small, but it gave her worldwide exposure that most young actors can never quite achieve. In 2016 she nabbed a recurring role on the Canadian drama series "Murdoch Mysteries" (City/CBC, 2008-), and followed that up with her breakout part as Waverly Earp on the Syfy fantasy series "Wynonna Earp." With her acting career already in full swing, 2017 also proved to be a landmark year for Provost-Chalkley. In addition to nabbing a part in the British drama "Beautiful Devils" (2017), she also landed a starring role in the Canadian horror film "Buckout Road" (2017).
