Diana Nyad

Renowned actress Diana Nyad has carved out an amazing career starring in television movies and specials. She appeared in a number of television specials, including "New York City Marathon" (1986-87), "Headhunter's Legacy" (ABC, 1987-88) and "The U.S. Open Tennis Tournament" (USA, 1988-89). She also appeared in "The 1990 Health Guide" (CNBC, 1989-1990). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Return of Hunter" (NBC, 1994-95). Nyad focused on television in more recent years, appearing on "The Real Story" (CNBC, 1990-93) and "The Monroes" (ABC, 1995-96). Nyad continued to exercise her talent in the nineties through the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "Vital Signs" (ABC, 1996-97), "Dancing With the Stars" (ABC, 2004-) and "Bud Greenspan Presents Pride Against Prejudice: The Larry Doby Story" (2006-07). Her credits also expanded to "Bud Greenspan: Heart of the Games" (ESPN Network, 2007-08). Nyad most recently appeared on "Training Rules" (2009).
