David Wells

David Wells was a prolific actor who created a name for himself largely on the big screen. Early on, Wells mostly landed roles in various films, including the Linda Lee Tracey documentary "Not a Love Story: A Film About Pornography" (1981), the Eddie Murphy action flick "Beverly Hills Cop" (1984) and "Starman" (1984) with Jeff Bridges. He also appeared in the horror sequel "Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: Initiation" (1990) with Maud Adams and the action movie "The Guyver" (1992) with Mark Hamill. Wells worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Days of Our Lives" (NBC, 1965-). His film career continued throughout the nineties in productions like the thriller "Wild Cactus" (1993) with David Naughton, "Progeny" (1998) with Arnold Vosloo and the Matt Mitler comedic drama "Cracking Up" (1998). He also appeared in the Drew Barrymore action picture "Best Men" (1999). More recently, he continued to act in "Uptown Girls" (2003) with Brittany Murphy, the Colleen Porch drama "Demon Hunter" (2006) and "L.A. Riot Spectacular" (2006). He also appeared in the comedy "Miss March" (2009) with Molly Stanton. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Bones" (Fox, 2005-). Most recently, Wells acted on "The Last Ship" (TNT, 2013-).
