David Lewis
David Lewis is a Canadian character actor who has taken full advantage of the popularity of his native country as a destination for television and film production. In fact, from 1993 to 1995 he made occasional guest appearances on "The X-Files," one of the first American shows filmed in Vancouver. In the '90s Lewis was a common sight in made-for-TV movies, including "A Child's Wish," "Breaking the Surface: the Greg Louganis Story," and "Every Mother's Worst Fear." During this time he also starred in the Canadian-produced short film "Shoes Off!," which won for Best Short Film at the Cannes Film Festival. He played supporting roles in the faux-horror flick "Lake Placid" and the slightly scarier, serious horror sequel "Halloween: Resurrection." In addition to playing guest roles on scores of television shows he portrayed recurring characters on "Hope Island," "John Doe" and "The L Word." He also starred on seven episodes of the 2007 one-season wonder "Harper's Island," which killed off one of its characters every episode.
