Meredith McGrath is discovered in the trunk of her car, she's been brutally raped and her mouth super-glued shut, she doesn't survive the attack. Her assailant also went to her house, killed her husband, and stole computer files. Stabler (Christopher Meloni) is working with a homicide detective on the case, Sam Bishop (Billy McNamara), because he is investigating Mr. McGrath's killing. They are trying to figure out what was so important about her computer files. The detectives discover she was trafficking in Internet pornography. But she was working for the Government, and one of her e-pals must have figured it out, and he is the prime suspect. Meanwhile, Stabler confronts his old nemesis from the U.S. Attorney's office, Claudia Williams (Pam Grier), since Meredith was working for her.

Roni Sellers (Marianne Hagan) is horrified when she calls her daughter's cell phone and hears screaming and a man's voice. Kaley (Molly Bea Spears), 18, works as a bicycle messenger to help pay her tuition for NYU. She's a good girl and a good student. When she disappears, a high profile case ensues. Mrs. Sellers holds a press conference and offers a reward for Kaley's return, and tips start coming in as to her whereabouts. Sebastian Ballentine (Martin Short), a psychic, also arrives at the station, and claims he's had a vision of Kaley. Stabler (Christopher Meloni) thinks he's a fraud but when he gives them specific clues, they think he could be a suspect.

An underage girl disappears after following her older sister to a college party in Manhattan. The SVU detectives mobilize to recover the missing girl but find themselves thwarted by a high-tech kidnapper using the internet to cover his tracks. As the case hits a dead end, DA Barba (guest star Raul Esparza) returns with some unlikely help. Meanwhile, Rollins (Kelli Giddish) is distracted by the sudden appearance of her very troubled sister (guest star Lindsay Pulsipher). Also starring Mariska Hargitay (Detective Olivia Benson), Ice-T (Detective Odafin Tutuola), Dann Florek (Captain Donald Cragen) and Danny Pino (Detective Nick Amaro).
