Danielle Fishel

Born in Arizona, Danielle Fishel began acting at a young age, working her way through local gigs and kid's commercials. Her TV career began at age 11 as she appeared on "Full House" (ABC 1987-1995), which was followed up by a small role on the TV adaptation of "Harry and the Hendersons" (Syndication 1991-93) and what was originally supposed to be a small role on "Boy Meets World" (ABC 1993-2000) as Topanga Lawrence. Becoming a memorable character, Fishel became a series regular in the show's second season as well as the title character's main love interest over the course of the entire show. Her career right after "Boy Meets World" didn't quite take off, as her most notable roles were in a pair of National Lampoon's movies called "Dorm Daze" (2003) and "Dorm Daze 2" (2006). In 2008, she became the host of the satirical news show "The Dish" (Style 2008-2011). Despite not being on an active show, Fishel was still a regular guest on talk shows and more, even appearing in Donald Glover's short film "Clapping for the Wrong Reasons" (2013) as well as voicing Pyronica in the finale of "Gravity Falls" (Disney 2012-16). She went on to revisit the role of Topanga alongside her former co-star Ben Savage in the spin-off series "Girl Meets World" (Disney 2014-17), going on to direct a few episodes of the show before it was cancelled. She went on to direct episodes of "Sydney to the Max" (Disney 2019-) and "Raven's Home" (Disney 2017-).
