Daniela Holtz
Born in Stuttgart, Germany, Daniela Holtz was initially a journalist, before she decided to pursue acting as a profession. She studied at the prestigious Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art, and for her first on screen role, landed a leading part in director Maren Ade's first feature film, "The Forest for the Trees" (2003). She took a five-year break from the screen to focus on the stage, with roles in no fewer than ten productions. Holtz returned to the screen in 2007, and over the next few years would appear in a number of German films and TV series. In 2016, she made her English-language debut as a series regular on the British show "Victoria" (ITV, 2016). On the series, Holtz played Baroness Lehzen, the young Queen's governess and confidante.
