Daniel Eric Gold
Born in Hollywood, Daniel Eric Gold traveled to the other side of the country for his formal training. His first stop was at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City, immediately followed by Pennsylvania State University. Though his first job was a single appearance on the short-lived spin-off "Law & Order: Trial by Jury," a string of minor film roles--such as a conspiracy buff in the adaptation of H.G. Wells' classic sci-fi novel "War of the Worlds"--kept him busy through the late 2000s. He returned to television in 2009 on the quirky sitcom "Ugly Betty," playing the title character's love interest, Matt Hartley.
