Dan Resin

Dan Resin was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. Resin's career in acting began with his roles in various films like "Hail" (1972), "Richard" (1972) and "Crazy Joe" (1973). He also appeared in "Hail to the Chief" (1973), the Lynn Redgrave biopic "The Happy Hooker" (1975) and the comedy "The Sunshine Boys" (1975) with Walter Matthau. His film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like "God Told Me To" (1976), "The Private Files of J. Edgar Hoover" (1977) and the Chevy Chase comedic sports movie "Caddyshack" (1980). He also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "On Our Own" (CBS, 1977-78) and "The Madhouse Brigade" (1978-79). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the drama "Deadhead Miles" (1982) with Alan Arkin, the Tom Hanks comedy "The Man With One Red Shoe" (1985) and the action picture "Wise Guys" (1986) with Danny DeVito. He also appeared in "That's Adequate" (1989) with Tony Randall. Resin last acted on "New York Undercover" (Fox, 1994-98). Resin passed away in July 2010 at the age of 79.
