Damon Whitaker
Actor Damon Whitaker was known for his roles on the silver screen. Whitaker began his career with roles in the Forest Whitaker biopic "Bird" (1988), "Out All Night" (NBC, 1992-93) and the musical drama "Mr. Holland's Opus" (1995) with Richard Dreyfuss. He then acted in the Damian Chapa crime flick "Saints and Sinners" (1996), "The Burning Zone" (UPN, 1996-97) and "Ghost Dog: the Way of the Samurai" (2000) with Forest Whitaker. He also appeared in the romantic comedy "First Daughter" (2004) with Katie Holmes and the action film "Champagne Gang" (2006) with Lacey Toups. More recently, Whitaker acted in the Gina Rodriguez drama "Filly Brown" (2013).
