Damon Evans

Damon Evans was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Evans began his career with roles in "Evening at Pops" (1969-2002), "The Jeffersons" (CBS, 1975-1985) and "Roots: The Next Generations" (1978-79). He went on to act in "Turk 182" (1985) with Timothy Hutton, "Celebrating Gershwin" (PBS, 1987-88) and "The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess" (PBS, 1993-94). He also appeared in "Third Watch" (NBC, 1999-2005). More recently, Evans appeared in "Evening at Pops: Keith Lockhart's 10th Anniversary Special" (PBS, 2003-04).
