Craig Gellis

Craig Gellis' tattooed exterior has led him to multiple roles as the tough guy or even as a criminal. Despite characters like "ruffian," "robber," and even "rapist," Gellis' resume has included everything from action adventures to family films and comedies. His career began with appearances on television shows ranging from soap operas like "General Hospital" to comedies like "Reno 911!" in the early 2000s. He made the transition to motion pictures with 2006's "Rescue Dawn," a period action adventure film set during the Vietnam War. His next projects still saw him as a tough guy, but in a comedic setting as an inmate in the Will Ferrell comedy "Blades of Glory" and as a thug in the teen mystery "Nancy Drew," both in 2007. Gellis returned to television with appearances on"Castle" and "United States of Tara"as well as soap operas "The Young and the Restless" and "General Hospital: Night Shift," in addition to made-for-television movies. Gellis has moved his talents to the international film world; with 2012's "Open Road," he stars as Ronny in the story of a young Brazilian artist named Angie who goes on a journey of self discovery around the country, meeting different people and loves along the way.
