Cooper Barnes
Cooper Barnes was just eight years old when he first became drawn to the stage. Born in Sheffield, England but raised in Northville, Michigan, Barnes was bitten by the acting bug while performing in a local play. Entertaining others would prove to be a major strong suit for the young performer, and he found increasingly creative outlets for it as the years went on, even hosting a public access show with his friends while attending Northville High School. After graduating in 1997, he enrolled at Eastern Michigan University in the neighboring city of Ypsilanti, and appeared in plays at nearby venues like the Performance Network in Ann Arbor and the Gem Theatre in Detroit. Barnes eventually relocated to Los Angeles, where he made his screen debut in the independent film "Digging with Earnest" (2001). He went on to appear in other indie features and shorts, like "One Wild Knight" (2006) and "H-Detector" (2007), and made appearances on shows like "Californication" (Showtime, 2007-2014). Barnes also co-founded the sketch comedy troupe Frog Island, which would find major success on Youtube with web series like "Pacino & Pacino Talent Agency" (Youtube, 2011-12). In 2014, Barnes joined the cast of the Nickelodeon series "Henry Danger" (Nickelodeon, 2014-), playing the superhero Captain Man.
