Connor Stanhope
Best known for portraying Alexander (young Lex Luthor) on th smash-hit series "Smallville," Canadian-born actor Connor Stanhope started his acting career at a young age. His very first role was a guest spot in the short film "Kaufman's Care," when he was only six years old. A number of other small guest spots until he landed the lead role in the 2007 short film adaptation of "The Velveteen Rabbit." Following the filming and release of "The Velveteen Rabbit," young Stanhope continued to work in the short film/ television movie field until he landed the plum role of young Lex Luthor on "Smallville." Although Stanhope was not cast in every episode, he was still thrilled to be part of such an iconic work of television, paying homage to one of the most classic rivalries in entertainment history. In order to play the role in the show's seventh season, Stanhope had to dye his hair from blonde to red. Upon his return to the series in season eight, he was asked to shave his head. In 2011, Stanhope played the role of Matt Varett in the Terry Miles directed featured "Recoil." His character played the son of Ryan Varrett, portrayed by wrestling legend Steve Austin.
