Claudio Gora
Claudio Gora was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Gora's earliest roles were in film, including the Michèle Morgan biopic "Marie Antoinette" (1956), "The Tempest" (1958) with Silvana Mangano and the crime drama "An Ugly Mess" (1959) with Claudia Cardinale. He also appeared in "Love A La Carte" (1960) with Simone Signoret, "Behind Closed Doors" (1960) and the Vittorio Gassman dramatic adventure "The Easy Life" (1961). His film career continued throughout the sixties in productions like "Songs" (1962), the Cindy Carol comedy sequel "Gidget Goes to Rome" (1963) and the western "The Hellbenders" (1966) with Joseph Cotten. Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in the drama "Le Monache di Sant'Archangelo" (1972) with Anne Heywood, "Bisturi, la Mafica Bianca" (1973) and "Das Netz" (1975). He also appeared in "Nella Citta' Perduta di Sarzana" (1980) and the Anthony Quinn action picture "Lion of the Desert" (1981). Gora last acted in "I Padroni dell'Estate" (1987) with Christiane Jean. Gora passed away in March 1998 at the age of 85.
