Cissy Fitzgerald made her mark in the world of entertainment when she worked on "Matinee Ladies" (1927). In 1914, she made her screen debut in the silent short "The Accomplished Mrs. Thompson." In 1896, she appeared in an Edison short film. In 1914, she starred in a series of "Cissy" comedy shorts. In 1937, she made her final screen appearance in Reginald Purdell's "Patricia Gets Her Man."
