Christopher Lowell

After making his cinematic debut as crystal meth enthusiast Delaney in the "Rashomon"-esque "Spin" (2007), Lowell starred as one of four high school seniors who attempt to rob a bank in coming-of-age drama "Graduation" (2007) and appeared in two episodes of "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC 2005) as Oceanside Wellness Group receptionist William 'Dell' Parker. Lowell was then given the chance to flesh out this character, also a qualified nurse and single father, when he joined the hit medical series' spin-off "Private Practice" (ABC 2007-13), appearing in three seasons before being written out in tragic circumstances. Lowell then returned to the film world with consecutive small parts in awards favorites, firstly George Clooney's assistant Kevin in the bittersweet recession tale "Up In The Air" (2009) and then Emma Stone's love interest Stuart Whitworth in ensemble civil rights drama "The Help" (2011). Lowell remained in the 1960s for his next outing when he played college newspaper editor Peter in Vietnam War-based romantic drama "Love & Honor" (2013) before taking on his first lead role as The Boy, a twenty-something who attempts to win back the girl of his dreams in Maggie Kiley's indie rom-com "Brightest Star" (2013). Showcasing his versatility, Lowell then made the move from in front of to behind the cameras when he co-wrote, produced and directed "Beside Still Waters" (2013), an ode to the power of friendship inspired by his own experiences growing up, which was awarded the narrative winner at the Austin Film Festival. In the same year, he provided the snark as workshy Corporal Derrick Hill, one of three brothers assigned to a platoon of misfits and goofballs in the critically-acclaimed military sitcom "Enlisted" (Fox 2014).
