Christina Jackson
With her lyrical voice and captivating screen presence, actor Christina Jackson first caught the attention of many fans when she joined the cast of the acclaimed series "Boardwalk Empire" (HBO, 2010-2014). Born in New Jersey, Jackson discovered her love of acting thanks to the guidance of a caring drama teacher who took the young Jackson to see Heather Headley star in "Aida" on Broadway. Jackson was deeply inspired by the experience, and would continue to count on the guidance and support of that special teacher for years to come. After graduating from Newark's Arts High School with a management contract in hand, Jackson began acting professionally, starting out small with minor roles on the show "Love Monkey" (CBS, 2006) and in the independent comedy "Harold" (2008). After stints co-starring on the short lived series "River Ridge" (The SFN, 2012) and "Deception" (NBC, 2013), Jackson landed the memorable role of Chalky White's impressionable daughter Maybelle on "Boardwalk Empire." The show's content was so dark and violent, especially where her character was concerned, that Jackson vowed her next project would be a comedy. Fate had other plans, however, when she landed a co-starring role on the acclaimed drama series "Outsiders" (WGN, 2016-), portraying a young woman struggling in a rural Appalachian community, who becomes involved in a forbidden romance. The relationship between Jackson's character Sally-Ann and co-star Kyle Gallner's character Hasil quickly became an obsession for fans of the ensemble show, raising Jackson's profile even further.
