Christina Chambers
Christina Chambers peformed in all the high school musicals and plays while growing up in Alexandria, Virginia, and it was during this time that she developed a passionate interest in Shakespeare through the encouragement of her English teacher. Chambers enrolled in The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and studied Shakespeare in Stratford, Warwickshire during a summer semester abroad. Upon graduating, Chambers joined the Shenandoah Shakespeare Express, playing Juliet in a traveling production of "Romeo and Juliet." Soon she found herself with an agent, looking to find work as an actress in New York City. After many fruitless auditions, she received a call from her agent telling her that she would be flying out to California to join the cast of the soap opera "Sunset Beach." Chambers played the role of Maria Torres Evans for 125 episodes from 1998 to 1999. Her next big gig was a starring role in the MTV drama series "Spyder Games" in 2001. In 2004 she appeared in the television movie "Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of 'Charlies Angels'," in which she played one of the Angels, the actress Jaclyn Smith, opposite Tricia Helfer's Farrah Fawcett and Lauren Stamile's Kate Jackson. Chambers was back to soap operas in 2007, playing a recurring role on the long-running "One Life to Live."
