Christian Ulmen
German comedian, television host and actor Christian Ulmen began his career as a presenter on MTV Europe in the mid-1990s, but by the turn of the millennium, he left music videos behind to explore broader pastures. Beginning in 2001, his surreal parody of conventional TV chat shows, "Unter Ulmen," ran for three seasons. In 2003, he played the title role in the critically lauded comedy "Herr Lehmann," depicting the fall of the Berlin Wall from the perspective of a jaded East Berlin bartender and his lackadaisical patrons. Ulmen has since switched back and forth between television and film work, with increasing acclaim for both.
