Chrissy Metz
Chrissy Metz's attitude towards the challenges of being a plus sized actress was to acknowledge that they exist, but also to recognize that everyone has their own challenges to overcome, no matter what their profession or body type. Her first onscreen roles were a small part in a 2005 episode of "Entourage" (HBO, 2004-2011) and a small speaking role the same year in the Will and Jada Pinkett Smith produced show "All of Us" (UPN, 2003-06; The CW, 2006-07). The next few years she made supporting appearances in a number of films and TV shows, including "Loveless in Los Angeles" (2007), "My Name is Earl" (NBC, 2005-2009), and "Huge" (ABC Family, 2010). Her first recurring role came in 2014, when she appeared as Ima 'Barbara' Wiggles on "American Horror Story: Freak Show" (Fox, 2014-2015). In 2016, she co-starred as one of the main characters in the ensemble drama/comedy "This Is Us" (NBC, 2016-).
