Chloe Bailey
Hailing from Atlanta, young actor Chloe Bailey got her screen start remarkably early, filming her role in the gospel-oriented Hollywood feature "The Fighting Temptations" before she was even five years old. The movie, a 2003 comedic drama about an unlikely choir leader (played by Cuba Gooding Jr.), found Bailey portraying a youthful version of Beyoncé Knowles' character in a flashback. Though this role was a bit part, it got her further recognition, and, three years later, she appeared in a supporting role in "Last Holiday," a romantic comedy headlined by Queen Latifah and LL Cool J. Continuing her movie run, Bailey was featured in the tense drama "Gospel Hill," starring an impressive cast that included Danny Glover, Angela Bassett, and Giancarlo Esposito, who also directed the film. In 2008, Bailey worked with Bassett again in "Meet the Browns," this time in a more prominent part as Tosha, the daughter of the actor's lead character, Brenda. The movie, like many other of director/writer Tyler Perry's endeavors, proved to be a hit. After taking a break from Hollywood to focus on her schoolwork, Bailey returned to the screen with "Joyful Noise," a choir-themed feature that reunited her with Queen Latifah and allowed her to showcase her considerable vocal chops.
