Chick Hearn

Chick Hearn was an actor who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout his Hollywood career. Known for making audiences laugh, Hearn began his acting career in comedies like "The Loved One" (1965) with Robert Morse and Jonathan Winters, "The Love Bug" (1968) with Dean Jones and Michele Lee and the Chevy Chase film "Fletch" (1985). He also appeared in "Volunteers" (1985) with Tom Hanks and John Candy. He had an early role on the television special "The Celebrity Football Classic" (NBC, 1979-1980). He kept working in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, starring in "Big Business" (1988) featuring Bette Midler, the dramedy "White Men Can't Jump" (1992) with Wesley Snipes and the action film "Airborne" (1993) with Shane McDermott. He also lent his voice to "The Simpsons" (Fox, 1989-). He also was featured in the TV movie "Rebound: The Legend of Earl" (HBO, 1996-97). Most recently, Hearn acted in the romantic comedy "Long Shot" (2002) with Tony DeCamillis.
