Charles Lamb

Charles Lamb was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Lamb's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the comedy "The Lavender Hill Mob" (1952) with Alec Guinness, "Raising a Riot" (1955) and the Michael Ripper drama "The Intruder" (1955). He also appeared in "Lucky Jim" (1957) with Ian Carmichael and "The Nun's Story" (1959). His film career continued throughout the sixties in productions like the Ian Carmichael comedy adaptation "School For Scoundrels" (1960), the adventure "Sword of Sherwood Forest" (1960) with Peter Cushing and "The Curse of the Werewolf" (1961) with Clifford Evans. He also appeared in the Stanley Baker crime feature "The Criminal" (1962) and the action flick "Hide and Seek" (1964) with Ian Carmichael. During the latter part of his career, he continued to act in "Life at the Top" (1965) with Laurence Harvey, the Albert Finney comedic drama "Charlie Bubbles" (1967) and the horror movie "Five Million Years to Earth" (1968) with James Donald. He also appeared in the horror feature "Hands of the Ripper" (1971) with Eric Porter and the Jeff Goldblum comedy "The Tall Guy" (1990). Most recently, Lamb worked on "My Favorite Martian" (1999) with Christopher Lloyd.
