Charles Kuralt
Beloved actor Charles Kuralt captivated audiences with his various roles in television movies and specials. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "After the Dream Comes True" (1981-82), "Vladimir Horowitz Concert" (1985-86) and "Campaign '86: Election Night" (1986-87). He also appeared in "Twenty Years on the Road With Charles Kuralt" (1986-87) and "Try to Remember" (1987-88). In the eighties and the nineties, Kuralt devoted his time to various credits, such as "Edward R. Murrow: This Reporter" (PBS, 1989-1990), "On the 4th of July With Charles Kuralt" (CBS, 1989-1990), "America Tonight" (CBS, 1990-94) and "America's Toughest Assignment: Solving the Education Crisis" (CBS, 1990-91). Additionally, he appeared in a number of television specials, including "The Year of the Generals" (1991-92), "The Alistair Cooke Salute" (1992-93) and "The Andy Griffith Show Reunion" (1992-93). He also appeared in "1994 Olympic Winter Games" (1993-94). Kuralt last appeared in "G.I. Joe: The Ernie Pyle Story" (1997-98). Kuralt's wife was Suzanna Kuralt and Kuralt had two daughters Lisa Bowers White and Susan Bowers. Charles Kuralt passed away in July 1997 at the age of 63.
