While Frankie focuses on rehearsing for a solo in her church's midnight Christmas mass, Mike takes over handling the chores of, setting up the Heck family Christmas. But Frankie becomes a bit jealous when it seems that Mike is doing a better job at organizing, the holiday than she would have done. Meanwhile, Frankie and Mike try to help Brick overcome a problem in order to get into the, holiday spirit.

When a Jeffersonian coworker from the Egyptology department dies of heart failure, the whole team attends the wake. However, upon viewing the corpse, Brennan insists the death was no accident, and enlists Booth to help her steal the body so she and Cam can get a closer look. A bizarre mystery develops surrounding the victim's cause of death, and the suspects are as cryptic as the baffling death itself. Meanwhile, Cam gets a lesson in parenting when she tries to get her newly adopted teenage daughter Michelle to stop smoking.

Monk and Sharona are called to the home of Susan Molloy, the ex-wife of popular TV star Brad Terry. Once there, they learn that Susan was stabbed inside the house while Brad was out front dealing with the paparazzi -- that is, until everyone heard Susan's screams. The evidence points to a break in, but Monk thinks otherwise. Monk and Sharona pay a visit to the set of Brad's hit TV show, "Crime Lab S.F." There, they learn that the show is celebrating its 100th episode, which in turn means a VERY big payday for Brad -- a payday he's likely unwilling to share with his ex. Monk thinks he's got him, but when the TV star volunteers for a lie detector test and passes with flying colors, it's Monk who's been had.

A payroll truck is hijacked, Perry is kidnapped and Superman doesn't even care. The strange effects of a new red kryptonite forces the Man of Steel to visit a psychotherapist about his bizarre apathy. Bruce Campbell guest stars.

Kate begins staying over at Drew's house so that they can spend some time together. She accuses him of spoiling Speedy, and tries to put a stop to this. Speedy begins to display hostility toward Kate. She becomes afraid of the dog, and forces Drew to tie him up outside. Oswald's supervisor comes along on his deliveries as he gives him an evaluation. Speedy bites the supervisor when he tries to untangle his leash. Drew blames Kate for Speedy's sudden change in behavior. Lewis recommends that Drew seek the advice of an animal psychologist from DrugCo. She quickly determines that Kate and Speedy are fighting for control of Drew, and gives him a squirt gun to use whenever they begin pushing him around. Kate admits that she has been too demanding. Steve has problems in the bedroom. He and Mimi must follow the same routine each time to increase her chances of pregnancy, and he feels too much pressure. Mimi forces a bewildered Mr. Wick to have a talk with him.
