Charlene McKenna
Charlene McKenna was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on, McKenna mostly landed roles in various films, including the dramatic adaptation "Breakfast on Pluto" (2005) with Cillian Murphy, the Daniel Mays foreign "Middletown" (2006) and the Iain Glen comedic drama "Small Engine Repair" (2006). She worked in series television while getting her start in acting, including a part on "Being Human" (BBC, 2007-2013). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Old Curiosity Shop" (PBS, 2007-08). In the early 2000s, she worked on the television shows "Law & Order: UK" (BBC, 2008-2013) and "Merlin" (2008-2013). During these years, she additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in "The Tiger's Tail" (2008) with Brendan Gleeson. Recently, she tackled roles on "Misfits" (E4, 2009-2014) and "Ripper Street" (BBC, 2012-16). She also appeared in the Nichola Burley black comedy "Jump" (2013). McKenna most recently acted on "A.D. The Bible Continues" (NBC, 2015).
